Clipping for founders and personal brands

Podcasts and interviews turned into a steady clip presence that builds the person, so the product inherits the trust.

Long form in, daily clips out

One podcast appearance contains twenty usable clips and most founders publish none of them. The model here is simple: you keep doing the long-form conversations you already do, and the network turns each one into a steady stream of short clips across platforms.

Why it works for founders

People buy from people before they buy from companies. A founder who shows up in the feed with something specific to say builds trust that the product inherits, and that trust is durable in a way a campaign is not.

It also compounds. Clips from a conversation recorded in March keep earning views in June, and the audience that arrives already knows how you think.

What makes good source material

  • Conversations where you disagree with something, not just describe your product.
  • Specific numbers and specific stories rather than positioning.
  • Long enough that there are twenty moments in it, not two.
  • Recorded with usable audio. Everything else can be fixed, that cannot.

If you are not producing long form yet, start there. Clipping multiplies material; it does not create it.

How a campaign runs

You publish a brief: budget, platforms, rules and the angles that are off limits. Vetted clippers cut your source material and post to their own accounts. Every view reading is pulled from the platform every 48 hours and passes five independent fraud checks before it is billed, and clippers are paid per campaign in USDC on cleared views.

  • Fixed fee agreed before the campaign, so the cost of a view is not decided afterwards.
  • Every clip listed with creator, platform, URL and view history.
  • Human review against your banned-angles list, and you can reject any clip from your dashboard.
  • Flagged views held with the reason shown, and never billed.

What we need from you

Source footage, the rules, and someone who can answer a question within a day. For founder campaigns we need access to the long-form library and a short list of subjects you would rather not be clipped on.

Platforms we run

Clips run on TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and X. The brief states which are in scope, because the rules and the cut differ by platform: a Reels edit is not a Shorts edit, and what passes review on one is not automatically fine on another.

Founder clips tend to work hardest on X and Shorts, where a specific opinion travels further than a polished edit.

Cadence beats intensity

A founder presence is built by showing up consistently, not by one burst. One long-form conversation a month is enough source material for a steady clip cadence across platforms, and the audience that accumulates arrives already familiar with how you think.

That compounding is why founder campaigns are usually run as a standing line rather than a launch spike. Clips recorded in March keep earning views in June.

Founder brand and product brand

The two do not compete. Founder clips build trust the product inherits, and product campaigns on the open network buy reach the founder channel cannot. Brands that run both use the founder line for credibility and the network for volume.

Questions we get asked

I do not have long-form content yet.

Start there. Clipping multiplies material, it does not create it. One good conversation a month is enough to begin.

Do I have to appear in every clip?

Practically, yes. The point is the person. What varies is the subject, not the face.

Can I keep some subjects off limits?

Yes, and you should. A short list of subjects you would rather not be clipped on goes in the brief.

Who owns the clips?

They post on creator accounts under the open network model, or on accounts in your name if you run branded accounts. Either way the source material stays yours.

Start with a pilot

A pilot is a fixed test budget with dashboard access from day one. You watch clips land, check the numbers as they arrive, and decide on the strength of your own campaign rather than a case study. We take a limited number each month.
