TL;DR
  • Clipping buys short-form views from real creators, paid per view instead of per placement.
  • Our reference campaign delivered 98.4M views at a $0.17 effective CPM, against $5 to $40 on ad auctions.
  • Views only count after five independent checks. Flagged views are held and never billed.
  • Demand a live dashboard from any vendor. A monthly PDF is not proof.

WHAT A CLIPPING CAMPAIGN ISWHERE THE MONEY GOESHOW VIEWS GET VERIFIEDWHAT TO DEMAND FROM ANY VENDORFAQ

What a clipping campaign is

A brand sets a brief and a budget. Vetted clippers cut and post short clips to their own accounts on TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and X, and they are paid for the views their clips earn. The brand pays for outcomes, not for placements.

This is why clipping undercuts ad auctions: there is no bidding war for the impression. The clip earns its reach natively on the For You feed.

Where the money goes

On a fixed-fee campaign the platform fee is agreed up front and the rest of the budget pays clippers per thousand verified views. Because the fee does not scale with view count, removing a fake view costs the platform nothing, which is what makes honest numbers possible.

How views get verified

Every clip is read every 48 hours. Each reading passes five independent checks: how fast views arrive, the shape of the curve, engagement against views per platform, the creator’s history across campaigns, and the clip’s performance against its peers. A clip that fails any check is held, shown with the reason, and reviewed by a person.

What to demand from any vendor

A live dashboard you can log into, per-clip listings with URLs, view history per reading, a written policy for flagged views, and the right to reject off-brand clips before they are paid from your budget. If a vendor offers screenshots instead, walk.

FAQ

Are cheap views just bots?
Bought views cost cents, which is exactly why verification has to happen before billing, not after.

How fast can a campaign start?
Days. The brief is published to the network and the first clips usually land within 72 hours.

Do clippers need big followings?
No. Payment is per view, so a small account with a strong hook out-earns a lazy big one.
